RECENT PROJECTS
ULD and Det Nye Norske Storband
Watch one of the songs from the concert.
In November, I had the pleasure of arrangering the music of Norwegian trio ULD for a concert featuring the trio alongside Det Nye Norske Storband. As well as writing all the charts, I also conducted both concerts in a sold-out Oslo Concert House, one of the most prestigious venues in Oslo.
As well as being recorded for a future live album, several tunes from the concerts have been released with video on YouTube.
TV-aksjonen with KORK
During the fall I have been conducting The Norwegian Radio Orchestra for several recording sessions, as well as a recorded TV performance for TV-aksjonen, an annual fundraiser organized by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. As well as a small concert, several tunes were recorded for the broadcast, which can be seen in full here.
Torgkonserten with The Norwegian Wind Ensemble
In August, I had the pleasure of conducting The Norwegian Wind Ensemble for the annual "Torgkonserten" in Halden, featuring Silya Nymoen and Knut Marius Djupvik as soloists, as well as arranging most of the program. We performed outdoors in front of a wonderful audience of 3000 people in the town square.
You can read more about the project here.
